Gage Specifications:

When a new product design is developed, it is typical that 
the Gage Specifications are not given enough front - end 
attention to initially design a comprehensive assembly line process.  This is 
perhaps due to several common pitfalls. Sometimes the critical product 
characteristics are initially ignored or not understood, or the critical characteristic 
processes are over estimated for their abilities. ACE Manufacturing Services

the ACE equipment manufacturing experts, the ACE gage manufacturing experts 
from the beginning of the project thereby insuring the development of early 
Gage Specifications and a fully integrated assembly line process. Furthermore,

can deliver the Gage Specifications rolled into a manufacturing equipment 
procurement plan. 

Gage Specifications includes:
(Given a known product design and known production rates)

  1. DXF or DWG cad drawing of the Gage concept - followed by the actual 
      drawings upon competition of the gages  

  2. Written Gage Specifications containing: 
      - Critical procurement and production dates 
      - R&R Requirements- Operational descriptions and processing of Key 
        Characteristics high lighting error proofing and the required masters 
      - For automated the following will be contained: Mechanical, Electrical, 
        Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Installation, Utility Interfaces, Guarding, Shipping 
        Requirements, Equipment Acceptance Criteria, Maintenance Manual, 
        Training and others
