When a business plan is put together involving a new
product, the product design must be generated from
Assembly Line Concepts that are economically viable. The manufacturing
processes, or assembly line concepts, are deemed economically viable if the
product is made within a given takt time, meets the critical product characteristic
specifications, produces a minimal amount of scrap and down time while utilizing
the minimal amount of resources. ACE Manufacturing Services LLC will work
together with the customer’s product design and process teams and develop the
Assembly Line Concepts that will viably satisfy both the product design and
business plan. Furthermore, by turnkey managing the Assembly Line Concepts,
ACE Manufacturing Services LLC can deliver the subsequent individual Machine
Specifications making up the Assembly Line Concepts and roll them into a
Manufacturing Equipment Procurement Plan.
Assembly Line Concepts are written to include:
(Given a predicted finish product design and estimated production rates)
1. DXF and or DWG cad layout of the Assembly Line Concepts
2. Piece flow with conveyors, carts and buffers identified
3. Operational descriptions estimating machine cost, cycle time, processing
of key characteristics and high lighting the error proofing
4. Assembly Line Concepts with takt time, product trace-ability, predicted
FTQ and uptime (based on similar product lines)
